Jan Brett's Home Page
This award winning page is a great resource for teachers and parents. Teachers and librarians can write Jan Brett and receive a teacher's pack. You'll find audio files, videos and free screensavers too.

Alvarado Cyber Explorers
Alvarado Elementary School students and teachers have put a collection of links at their website that is an example of a "roadmap" (or in this case a "starmap") of Internet destinations customized for a particular group's needs. This school is participating in The Road Ahead Project along with 21 other schools. Read about them at the National Foundation for the Improvement of Education.

Solar Oven
One of the younger members of New Horizons for Learning's network is Ethan Clancy, 11, who sent us a link to his new website.  He writes, "This is a website I created about an experiment I did.  I discovered a way to make solar ovens more effective and I thought your viewers might be interested."
