Learning Style Identification Exercise (ELSIE)

The following words are to be used with the ELSIE Instrument.
As each word is read, mark your response to the word in one of the four categories:

 

VISUALIZATION: Mental picture of the object or activity.
WRITTEN WORD: Mental image of the word spelled out.
LISTENING: No mental picture, sound carries the meaning.
ACTIVITY: Physical/emotional feeling about the word.

Sample demonstration words: SINK, HOLD
